I was running a bit late for work the other day, and considering not going to work out beforehand.
Then I didn't not do that. (Ugh, terrible grammar.)
Instead, I went to the gym, stuffed all my crap in good old locker #69, and worked out anyhow, going for a nice 30 minute swim. I put myself first.
When I got to work, the work I had to do was still waiting for me. The other chores, errands, and home things I had to do that day still waited for me when I got around to them.
But I felt better all day because I had my priorities straight about my health.
