My cat babies, Yin and Yang are creatures of habit.  They have patterns to what they do.  Every day, Yang hangs out with me while I do bathroom-stuff, brushing teeth, shaving, all that jazz.  Every single day he's curious about my deodorant, and wants to smell it.  Every single time he does, he's repulsed by it.

It's hysterical.  It makes me laugh every time.

Yin has her stuff like this too.  When I come home from work, she wants a few quiet minutes to sit in my lap, get love, and for us to do nothing.

Like this.

I really treasure these regular moments of love with them.  I've had them for 10 years, and each day of them has been priceless.

I'm catching up my blog again - it's been a busy week.  After I wrote that new (actually incomplete) Littleton story, and talked it up a bit on Fetlife and Reddit, this happened.

Um, wow.  Over 800 hits in five days.  Now technically, it's Saturday, and this is Monday's gratitude, but when I first posted it, I checked the hits Monday morning and they took off, and just kept going.

Stuff like this makes me feel so good.  I'm a big fan of not requiring the validation of other folks, but I do have this one area in which I am utterly starving for it, and that's knowing my writing is well received.  I mean, that's part of the point of art - it's made to be consumed by others.  I'm super happy to see that what I put out there was well received.

I've been off my game, writing wise, for a while.  Today, I am right back to it.  This morning I was talking to a good friend about age play, intimacy, submission, butt plugs, and other lovely things, and also stumbled across a VERY NSFW wonderful animated gif posted by my friend @itsImrielJay on his tumblr.  (Seriously, it's lovely and filthy - click at your own risk.)

Those two things crashed together on my mental highway in a glorious car accident of inspiration, and BANG - a story began bleeding its way into my mind.  It's about Adam & Christina, two of my favorite characters from my novel Concerning Littleton, and takes place after the end of that book.

I'm using the story as a way of warming my writing muscles back up, as I'm working on my next novel.  I just spent the better part of my whole day working on the story so far.

I decided to post it here at my site, and share it with you, because I'm so grateful to be writing again.

It's called Passenger Seat.  Let me know what you think!

No, it's not a nickname, it's a food.

I made these this morning. They contain no gluten, no flour, no sugar either. In fact, they only had these ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 2 eggs
  • a splash of vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp of pb2 dried peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp of margarine to cook in

My whole breakfast, including the glass of whole milk, was 580 calories!  Missy gave me the idea from something she saw on Facebook.

Here's the original recipe:
